Psychopharmacology Prescription Training, Educational Guidelines and Programs
1) Meets Recommendations for Level I-III Training:
A: 128 to 450 contact hours of didactic instruction. LOWEST FEE STRUCTURE IN THE U. S. !!

B: Core content areas: Neurosciences, Pharmacology, Psychopharmacology, Physiology and Pathophysiology, Physical and Laboratory Assessments, Clinical Pharmacotherapeutics, and Related Sciences.
C: Internship of 100 patients, one year minimum.
2) Types of Psychopharmacology Training Currently Offered:
A: National programs via DVD Distance Learning Formats, with Continuing Education Credits for your license renewal and/or contact with individual psychologists and make extensive use of Internet and video technologies or conduct education central locations and invite participants to travel to the sight of programming. Continuing Education Credits always included.
B: National Programs that contact with individual State organizations to provide “on sight and live” programming.
C: State, and/or Distance Learning training programs.
3) PPR, is the Pioneer, First and Largest Nationally-Based Program for Psychologists in Psychopharmacology and Related Sciences.

Prescribing Psychologists’ Register, Prescription Privilege Preparation Program, offers a series of courses with PPR Approved Continuing Education Credits for license renewal.

ICPP IS THE FIRST CREDENTIALING ORGANIZATION THAT WAS APPROVED BY ANY STATE LICENSING BOARD OF PSYCHOLOGY (FLORIDA) OFFERING THE PSYCHOPHARMACOLOGY DIPLOMATE.
